For me as a plastic surgeon in Mumbai, it was an inspiring experience at AESURG 2026. During the conference, multiple parallel halls were running simultaneously over the period of four to five days. The conference had truly covered various spectrums of aesthetic and plastic surgery, and I found it as impossible to attend every session.
However, every lecture which I have attended has added real value to my practice. I consider it as a privilege to learn from renowned international and Indian faculties in the field of plastic surgery. I have attended a mix of sessions, which includes attending the in-depth lectures, attending open discussions, and also attending high-quality surgical videos, demos.
From demo perspective, I have attended demos of rhinoplasty, breast reduction and augmentation, tummy tuck, arm liposuction. Then there was a special demo on gender reassignment surgery, which helped me to learn about this surgery. I think in the conference, the focus was on how to improve the results of our plastic surgeries and manage the complications properly.
I have seen the use of new technologies and advanced instruments in various demonstrations in the conference. And then along with like attending the sessions, it was also a time of meeting with fellow plastic surgeons in Mumbai, then plastic surgeons across the world.
It is always helpful to interact with your senior colleagues and sharing the moments. Overall, I would say it was a Very good experience where all the plastic surgeons in Mumbai and across the India participated and shared their knowledge.
